Palak is an associate attorney at JLG who regularly works on behalf of corporations in the areas of commercial litigation, intellectual property prosecution and litigation, technology and internet law, music and entertainment law, and employment & labor law. She is a passionate and creative lawyer with a genuine interest in clients’ innovative ideas. Palak approaches legal issues with an analytical, inventive mindset, aiming to bring about the best possible solution for clients.
Palak is a member of the Illinois Bar, American Bar Association, and Women’s Bar Association of Illinois. Prior to joining JLG, Palak worked as a law clerk at a prominent Chicago litigation firm. She has also worked as a legal extern for the Department of Homeland Security and externed for the Honorable Judge Mary M. Rowland of the Northern District of Illinois.
Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Palak earned her JD from Chicago-Kent College of Law where she served as the Treasurer of the Hispanic Latino Law Student Association and as a member of the Women in Law Association. Palak is a proud alumna of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where she received her B.A. in Economics and Political Science. In her spare time Palak enjoys traveling, DIY projects, and rooting for the Chicago Bears.
