Danielle Falls is an associate at Jayaram Law where her practice focuses on media, advertising, entertainment and intellectual property matters. She also represents clients on brand management and e-commerce. Her clients come from a range of industries, including fashion and beauty, wellness and lifestyle, technology, and entertainment. Prior to joining Jayaram, Danielle gained a wide range of experience at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP as an associate in the firm’s Intellectual Property & Media group, as well as the firm’s Data Privacy group.
At Weil, Danielle counseled on various intellectual property and privacy matters in the context of corporate transactions. She also served on Weil teams representing the North American Concert Promoters Association in Broadcast Music, Inc.’s federal rate court action against NACPA to determine live concert royalty rates, Sirius XM and Pandora in proceedings before the Copyright Royalty Board, and Getty Images in a copyright infringement action involving Getty’s use and licensing of photographs. Her pro bono experience included counseling the Public Art Fund on various exhibitions and a high-profile civil rights case brought against the township of Mahwah for violating constitutional rights to free exercise, freedom of association, and due process.
Danielle received her B.F.A. from New York University and her J.D. from Fordham University Law School with a concentration in Intellectual Property and Information Law. She served as the Associate Editor of the IP, Media & Entertainment Law Journal and was a member of the Art Law Society and the Media and Entertainment Law Society. During law school she worked at NBCUniversal and the Hansen Intellectual Property Law Institute.
